  4. The magnification of some of these 
  5. biomicroscopes is changed by moving 
  6. the lever just below and between the 
  7. eyepieces.  It has only two magnification 
  8. choices.  Usually you would start your 
  9. examination with a low setting. Two 
  10. different eyepieces (10X and 16X) can 
  11. be used to change the magnification.  
  12. With the 10X eyepieces 10X and 16X 
  13. magnifications are possible.  With the 
  14. 16X eyepieces 16X and 25.6X is obtained.

  17. the more typical multiple magnification 
  18. settings.
